Worked on the hmemcpy/nixpkgs repository to upgrade the jftui package from version 0.7.2 to 0.7.4, focusing on maintaining package currency and reliability. The update involved modifying the Nix expression to reference the new version and updating the SHA256 checksum, ensuring that builds remain reproducible and that users consistently retrieve the correct upstream source. This work demonstrated skills in Nix package management, source verification, and version coordination. By keeping the package up to date, the changes reduced the risk of build failures due to source mismatches and simplified ongoing maintenance for both users and continuous integration systems.
