Over a two-month period, contributed to Apache Superset and preset-io/superset by focusing on front end stability and data integrity. Addressed dashboard usability by restructuring the vertical filter bar and introducing a scrollable modal sidebar for long filter lists, reducing UI clutter and improving the filtering experience. Tackled a critical visual overflow bug and enhanced the filter UI’s responsiveness using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. In preset-io/superset, improved dataset reliability by cleaning up JSON serialization, omitting unnecessary fields to ensure cleaner data payloads. Demonstrated a collaborative approach, clear commit documentation, and attention to maintainability across both repositories and workflows.
