Contributed to the ethyca/fides repository by delivering a comprehensive Privacy Center refresh, focusing on both new feature development and system stability. Built new field types and enhanced display condition validation to improve user data collection, while introducing an attachments model to support user-uploaded files with full lifecycle management. Addressed middleware reliability by replacing an external UUID dependency with native crypto.randomUUID, and enforced ISO 3166-2 validation to ensure accurate geography data. Fixed URL serialization to prevent trailing slash warnings. The work leveraged Python, TypeScript, and SQLAlchemy, emphasizing robust data validation, backend development, and maintainable middleware architecture throughout the project.
