January 2026 monthly summary: Delivered targeted data standard enhancements and version alignment across Ed-Fi projects to improve data quality, developer experience, and cross-version compatibility. Major documentation and domain expansions were implemented for v5/v6, and 6.1.0 compatibility updates were applied to ensure adherence to the latest Ed-Fi schema. These efforts support faster onboarding, clearer data standards, and more reliable integrations for downstream systems and partners.

This month focused on delivering API standards upgrades and documentation improvements for the Ed-Fi Data Standards v6 within the Ed-Fi-Alliance OSS hub. June 2025 summary: Delivered a critical feature to enhance the Ed-Fi Data Standard by integrating TPDM Community sample data, improving dataset comprehensiveness and usability for educational assessments. Implemented the data movement commit to align the sample data with the Ed-Fi standard, enabling more robust analytics and reporting. Demonstrated end-to-end data standardization, TPDM/Ed-Fi alignment, and strong Git-based collaboration. No major bugs reported this month within the scope of this work.
