During November 2024, contributed to the nextcloud/richdocuments repository by developing an integration that allows users to embed multimedia files from Nextcloud directly into Impress presentations. This work involved implementing an insertFile handler and advertising the EnableInsertRemoteFile capability, enabling seamless discovery and insertion of external media. The solution streamlined the end-to-end flow for embedding remote assets, reducing manual steps and enhancing the presentation creation process. Leveraging skills in backend and frontend development, as well as integration, the implementation utilized JavaScript, PHP, and Markdown to align the codebase with multimedia embedding use cases and improve collaborative document workflows.
