Worked on the cloudfoundry/uaa repository, focusing on backend development and security enhancements using Java, OAuth, and the Spring Framework. Addressed two targeted bugs over two months, first improving OIDC interoperability by updating JWK handling to accept the application/jwk-set+json content type, which increased compatibility with various OIDC providers and strengthened token validation reliability. Enhanced test coverage by updating integration tests to ensure regression protection and maintain CI health. Subsequently resolved an issue with external group assignment by enabling support for group names containing quotes, adding regression tests to validate the fix and streamline group mapping workflows in SCIM-based identity management.
