Mikhail Dzianishchyts engineered robust features and infrastructure across the Paradise and BandaStation repositories, focusing on gameplay systems, developer tooling, and workflow automation. He delivered enhancements such as customizable loadout items, AI behavior refinements, and economic balance adjustments using DM and Python, while also consolidating CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and shell scripting for maintainability. His work included backend improvements for admin visibility, VS Code extensions for log analysis, and mass screenshot tools for administrators. Mikhail’s approach emphasized cross-repo collaboration, code quality, and data-driven solutions, resulting in stable deployments, improved developer productivity, and a more coherent player experience.

In July 2025, BandaStation delivered a targeted CI/CD modernization to improve reliability, speed, and maintainability of the development workflow. The primary deliverable was a consolidated CI/CD pipeline that runs builds and tests exclusively on self-hosted runners, with OS/architecture constraints removed. A new combined_build_and_test.yml workflow centralizes build and test steps, and existing workflows were updated to reference the consolidated job, resulting in a single source of truth for the CI/CD process. This work is captured by commit 615d6c25548aecd69421029c1da356fc5e0f1810 (Integrate self-hosted runners (#1579)).
