Miver Verkade delivered Dutch localization for the compact side navigation in the FreeTubeApp/FreeTube repository, focusing on improving accessibility and usability for Dutch-speaking users. Working within the Weblate-driven translation workflow, Miver translated YAML-based UI strings to ensure consistent and maintainable localization across navigation components. The work aligned with FreeTube’s broader internationalization and localization roadmap, directly enhancing onboarding and daily usage for a new language audience. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, it demonstrated a clear understanding of translation workflows and internationalization principles, addressing a specific need for Dutch language support without introducing new bugs.
