Worked on enhancing UI testing capabilities for the JetBrains/intellij-community repository by implementing IdeaFrameUI Multi-Instance Retrieval, a feature that allows retrieval of multiple IdeaFrameUI instances to support robust UI test coverage in the Goland IDE. Focused on improving the reliability and automation of UI tests, the approach leveraged Kotlin for both feature development and test updates, with an emphasis on UI development and testing best practices. This work reduced flaky tests in continuous integration by enabling multi-instance scenarios, laying the foundation for more comprehensive automated UI testing within the IntelliJ platform and supporting ongoing improvements in test automation workflows.
