May 2025 monthly summary for puzzle/okr. Delivered an automated deployment pipeline and release process that standardizes and speeds up releases across production and staging. Implemented a manual-trigger deploy.yml workflow to orchestrate versioning, Docker image builds, end-to-end tests, releases, and SBOM generation/publishing, plus a deployment action to release the current codebase to prod/staging. This work reduces manual toil, improves reproducibility, and strengthens governance.

In 2024-10, puzzle/okr delivered a substantial staging CI enhancement by enabling End-to-End testing and cleaning up dependencies. End-to-end tests were enabled in the staging deployment pipeline by uncommenting and adjusting the e2e-docker job configuration, and the upload-to-quay workflow was updated to remove the e2e-docker dependency. The work improves test coverage on staging, reduces maintenance burden, and accelerates feedback before production releases. Major bugs fixed: none this month. Overall impact: more reliable staging, faster defect detection, and stronger release readiness. Technologies/skills demonstrated: CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based E2E testing, YAML config, dependency management, and Quay-based image deployment.
