This involved designing a crusade call trigger, implementing event modifiers, and introducing mechanics for morale boosts and war exhaustion reduction, all aimed at enhancing Papal states’ strategic options. The developer refactored and extended the Papal mission tree to grant claims on Italian territories and add country modifiers, deepening diplomatic gameplay. All changes were implemented using txt and yml, demonstrating skills in game development and modding while prioritizing maintainability and expanded player agency within the mod.
