During January 2025, Mingaa focused on improving diagram reliability in the jitsi/excalidraw repository by addressing issues with bound arrow rendering. Mingaa identified and fixed a bug where elbow arrows connected to diagram elements failed to update correctly after font-size changes or alignment operations. By refining the logic in the JavaScript and TypeScript codebase, Mingaa ensured that arrows dynamically re-evaluate their positions, maintaining accurate visual connections and alignment as users modify text or reposition elements. This targeted front end development work enhanced the editor’s usability, resulting in clearer, more accurate diagrams and a smoother user experience for complex UI interactions.
