Mingtse Lu delivered a complete Traditional Chinese user interface localization for the FreeTubeApp/FreeTube repository, enabling full accessibility for Chinese-speaking users. Working within the existing localization pipeline, Mingtse utilized YAML and Weblate to translate all UI strings, ensuring seamless integration and future maintainability. The work focused on internationalization and localization best practices, with careful attention to translation accuracy and commit-level traceability. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the project addressed a key market need by expanding language support. The depth of the contribution is reflected in the end-to-end coverage and alignment with the team’s broader localization strategy.
