During March 2026, contributed to the iOfficeAI/AionUi repository by developing a feature that enables users to open workspace folders using VS Code, Terminal, or File Explorer, with dynamic checks for tool availability and seamless persistence of user preferences. The implementation leveraged JavaScript and TypeScript within a Node and React front end, ensuring cross-platform compatibility and an improved onboarding experience. Windows PowerShell terminal support was added specifically for Windows environments, and localStorage was used to remember each user’s preferred tool. Additionally, updated the shellBridge test suite to cover new providers, enhancing test reliability and supporting consistent developer workflows across platforms.
