Developed a metrics-driven dashboard for the redhat-appstudio/o11y repository, focusing on enhancing productization visibility through data-driven monitoring. Built a Grafana dashboard that visualizes key pipeline timings, including the delay between commit and build start as well as build duration, leveraging Prometheus as the data source. Implemented templating for data source selection and time-range filtering, enabling multi-environment monitoring and efficient metric reuse. Used YAML for dashboard configuration, ensuring adaptability and maintainability. The work translated complex pipeline timing data into actionable insights, supporting faster business decisions and laying the groundwork for broader adoption of monitoring practices across teams.
