Mintu Sah worked on the icanbwell/fhir-server repository, focusing on streamlining the GraphQL server configuration. Over the course of a month, Mintu removed subgraph-related logic, including discontinuing the use of buildSubgraphSchema, to simplify the server’s setup and improve maintainability. The work involved relocating the scalar_type into FhirProperty, which strengthened the alignment of the data model and reduced coupling within the codebase. By pruning unused dependencies and eliminating dead code, Mintu reduced the maintenance surface area. The project was implemented using JavaScript and Python, demonstrating backend development and GraphQL expertise while delivering a more reliable and maintainable configuration.
