Worked on expanding the image catalog within the giantswarm/retagger repository to support a broader range of container images for automated deployment workflows. Focused on configuration management using yaml, the work involved updating renamed-images.yaml to include additional images such as host-scanner, klamav, synchronizer, http-request, opentelemetry-collector, and prometheus-exporter. Enhanced the retagger tool to recognize and manage these new image versions, ensuring comprehensive kubescape image coverage and preparing the system for future catalog growth. This approach streamlined CI/CD automation by enabling more robust image version tracking and management, contributing to a more scalable and maintainable deployment pipeline.
