Worked on the incident-io/terraform-provider-incident repository, delivering a feature that enhanced alert routing configuration within the Terraform provider. Focused on backend development using Go and Terraform, the work involved making severity and custom fields in the alert routing model truly optional, preserving null states and ensuring accurate API mapping. Introduced plan modifiers to handle unknown states for alert grouping and severity, which improved the flexibility and robustness of the configuration. These changes reduced configuration fragility and enabled safer deployments, supporting faster incident response and better customer outcomes. No critical defects were reported during this period, reflecting careful implementation.
