Worked on stabilizing and maintaining the Netcracker/qubership-envgene repository by focusing on Docker image dependency hygiene. Addressed a runtime reliability issue by ensuring essential tools like tar were present in the container while removing unused dependencies such as unzip, effectively reducing the image size and attack surface. Leveraged skills in containerization and DevOps, specifically working with Dockerfile syntax to streamline and clarify runtime dependencies. The approach prioritized maintainability and reproducibility of container builds, aligning the deployment environment with operational requirements. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on bug resolution and improving the overall stability of deployments.
