Over two months, MJ contributed to the agiresearch/Cerebrum repository by building an adapter layer that enables seamless integration of third-party AI agent frameworks such as AutoGen, OpenInterpreter, and MetaGPT. Using Python and established software design patterns, MJ developed dedicated adapter modules and a unified API, allowing Cerebrum to prepare and execute external agents through a consistent interface. The work included refactoring the adapter request flow, improving response handling, and updating LLM API imports to ensure reliability and maintainability. This engineering effort established a scalable integration layer, reducing onboarding time and mitigating framework-specific risks for future AI backend integrations.

March 2025 (2025-03): Delivered a unified Adapter API for Cerebrum to enable seamless multi-framework AI integration. Refactored adapter request flow to include a base URL, improved response handling for AutoGen, Interpreter, and MetaGPT, updated LLM API imports, and aligned test coverage with the new API. The work established a cohesive, scalable integration layer to accelerate onboarding of new AI backends and reduce integration risk.
