During August 2025, Markus Koller focused on enhancing UI consistency across the vivid-planet/comet and vivid-planet/comet-starter repositories. He implemented a CSS reset targeting fieldset and legend elements within global styles, using CSS and TypeScript to address cross-browser rendering inconsistencies in form components. This approach removed default browser styling, resulting in more reliable and uniform visual presentation, particularly in demo environments. The work accelerated onboarding and improved the reliability of demonstrations by providing a consistent baseline for further UI development. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the depth of the changes established a foundation for future front-end improvements.
