In May 2025, Morten Klitte developed a feature for the zendesk/copenhagen_theme repository that enhanced the Service Item Page by enabling HTML rendering of service item descriptions. Using React and JavaScript, Morten implemented a long description toggle, allowing users to expand or collapse detailed content for improved readability and engagement. The solution was delivered as a focused, maintainable patch, centralizing the rendering logic to support future enhancements in rich-text formatting. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work improved content presentation and streamlined agent workflows, laying the groundwork for consistent HTML rendering across similar services in the application.
