During July 2025, Michael Kouzel enhanced UI consistency and responsiveness across two repositories, yext/visual-editor and YextSolutions/pages-visual-editor-starter. He addressed a styling issue in the starter editor by updating the Tailwind CSS configuration to ensure all relevant classes from search-ui-react were properly scanned and applied, resolving missing styles in rendered components. In the visual editor, he improved the Locator Map’s adaptability by implementing dynamic padding calculations within the React Map component, resulting in better display across devices. His work demonstrated proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, delivering stable, maintainable solutions that improved user experience and reduced regressions.
