In November 2024, Mihir Kozarek developed and delivered Auton LED design assets for the umrover/mrover-electrical repository, focusing on accelerating hardware prototyping and improving onboarding for new contributors. Using CAD tools and PCB design expertise, Mihir produced schematic documents, PCB layout files, and STEP-based 3D models, ensuring the assets were ready for both electrical and mechanical integration. He also enhanced repository hygiene by updating the .gitignore to exclude macOS-specific artifacts, reducing clutter in future commits. While no bugs were reported, Mihir’s work facilitated cross-team collaboration and established a foundation for faster iteration cycles in the Auton LED project.
