Worked on the ls1intum/Artemis repository to enhance automated submission result handling and improve the reliability of manual assessment flows. Developed a robust filtering mechanism in Java that ensures only the latest automatic result is considered for submissions before assessment due dates, centralizing this logic within the SubmissionFilterService for maintainability. Addressed a manual assessment issue on the student dashboard, refining the grading process for programming exercises. Focused on backend and API development, the work included comprehensive test coverage to validate new behaviors and prevent regressions. These contributions improved both the accuracy of result processing and the extensibility of the assessment system.
