Developed and integrated an end-to-end Cloud Base Height aviation diagnostics feature for the MetOffice/CSET repository, targeting scenarios with cloud bases below 50 meters. The work involved designing YAML configurations to support time series and spatial plot generation, as well as spatial difference analysis, enabling more granular aviation weather diagnostics. Leveraging Python and YAML, the developer automated workflow integration and introduced aviation weather templates to streamline analysis. Code formatting and configuration management were addressed during the integration process to ensure alignment with project standards. The feature was delivered through a series of focused commits, reflecting a methodical approach to workflow automation and data processing.
