Contributed Arabic localization to the Uptime Kuma repository, enhancing accessibility for Arabic-speaking users and supporting broader internationalization efforts. Leveraged Weblate to translate 814 out of 1522 UI strings, establishing a scalable workflow for future translations and collaborating closely with translation communities. Focused on improving user onboarding and satisfaction for a new locale by integrating localization best practices and ensuring UI/UX accessibility. Utilized JSON for translation files and managed contributions through Git and CI workflows. The work addressed the need for multilingual support, laying the groundwork for ongoing localization and making the product more inclusive for a global audience.
