Worked on enhancing the reliability of the Yocto SDK installer within the zephyrproject-rtos/poky repository, focusing on system robustness and standards compliance. Addressed a critical issue by enabling the -o pipefail option in the installer’s shell script, ensuring that errors in piped commands are properly detected and preventing the installation of incomplete or broken SDKs. This approach aligned the installer’s behavior with POSIX standards, improving overall system integrity. The work leveraged expertise in shell scripting, build systems, and system administration, demonstrating a methodical approach to quality assurance and a focus on maintaining dependable software installation processes.
