Worked on configuration hygiene within the is-a-dev/register repository, focusing on the removal and deprecation of a legacy domain configuration JSON to streamline domain settings. Applied disciplined data management and file handling practices to reduce the configuration surface area, which improved maintainability and prepared the codebase for future feature consolidation. Leveraged JSON for structured configuration updates, ensuring changes were auditable and minimizing the risk of regressions during migration. The work targeted safer feature rollouts and a clearer onboarding process for domain configuration, resulting in simpler ongoing maintenance and a reduced risk of stale data persisting in production environments. No bugs were addressed.
