Worked on the hacksider/kilocode repository to optimize server capability handling by developing a feature that fetches only the available server capabilities, thereby reducing unnecessary server interactions and improving overall performance. The technical approach involved implementing targeted API integration using TypeScript for backend development, with a focus on efficient data retrieval. To ensure reliability and maintainability, testing was enhanced by introducing a mock implementation of the getServerCapabilities method for McpHub and updating existing tests to reflect the new behavior. These improvements contributed to more stable continuous integration workflows and streamlined server capability management without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
