
Over four months, Monyarm developed modular deployment and configuration tooling for the metacraft-labs/nixos-modules and blocksense-network/blocksense repositories, focusing on automation, reliability, and maintainability. He built a robust command-line interface and configuration management workflow for NixOS, enabling safer scripting and streamlined system administration. Leveraging Rust, Nix, and Shell scripting, he improved build hygiene, error handling, and system packaging, while integrating API clients and Docker-based services for blockchain workloads. His work included refactoring TypeScript and Rust wrappers for code quality, upgrading Node.js environments, and enhancing backend service resilience, resulting in reproducible deployments and reduced manual intervention across complex infrastructure.

June 2025 focused on strengthening developer tooling, code quality, and cross-language maintainability for blocksense. Delivered Nix package set improvements including an upgrade of the Node.js runtime in the JavaScript shell to v24 and a configuration naming cleanup by renaming pre-commit to git-hooks. Implemented code quality improvements across TypeScript and Rust wrappers, aligning TS wrappers with Prettier formatting standards and addressing a Rust compiler warning by simplifying string formatting.
