In October 2025, delivered critical Canton-related upgrades and stability improvements for hyperledger-labs/splice. Re-enabled admin workflow loading after Canton upgrade and prepared groundwork for a Canton version bump. Hardened the vetting workflow with per-sync vetting, topology/time fixes, and mediator timeout force flags. Ensured vetting changes consistently reflect in the sync store. Experimented with CI optimization by temporarily accelerating migration tests, then reverted for stability. Implemented stability and maintainability enhancements, including configuration tweaks to reduce flakiness, improved logging for failed syncs, and miscellaneous fixes (package-lock, streaming/config, test ignores) that improve reliability and developer productivity. This work increases reliability, accelerates feedback, and positions the project for a smoother Canton upgrade path.

July 2025 monthly summary for hyperledger-labs/splice: Focused on configuration cleanup and forward-port readiness. Removed the sequencer-api-limits configuration section from multiple files to reduce configuration debt and misconfiguration risk.
