Worked on the PrismLauncher/PrismLauncher repository to enhance version list management by implementing a forceReload parameter for version list loading tasks. This addition allowed users to manually refresh metadata, ensuring that the latest version information appeared without requiring a restart. The technical approach involved modifying the shared version list loader to respect the forced reload, addressing an issue where manual refreshes previously reused cached manifests and failed to display new versions. The work was completed using C++ and focused on both UI development and task management, with clear traceability provided through linked commits to support maintainability and future code reviews.
