Worked on the fmidev/helm-charts repository to enhance Helm chart configurability and maintainability for Kubernetes deployments. Introduced an optional GRIB_OPTIONS parameter in the Helm job template, enabling more flexible GRIB file processing workflows. Updated Chart.yaml to include current maintainer information, improving traceability and ownership clarity. Added a global section to values.yaml, defining stable defaults for environment, prodType, and cloud, which satisfied linter requirements and ensured consistent deployments across environments. Leveraged DevOps practices and YAML to streamline configuration management, resulting in improved deployment flexibility, clearer CI reliability, and more maintainable infrastructure for ongoing development and operational needs.
