During March 2026, Michael O’Brien focused on stabilizing the continuous integration pipeline for the percona/percona-server-mongodb repository. He addressed a reliability issue by re-enabling the no_passthrough_disagg_override_gen test suite, which had previously been disabled, thereby restoring critical test coverage and improving the consistency of master patch builds. Leveraging his skills in configuration management, DevOps, and testing, Michael updated YAML-based CI configurations to prevent future disablements and reduce test flakiness. This work accelerated feedback on new patches and contributed to safer, higher-quality releases. The depth of his contribution lay in targeted CI improvements rather than feature development during this period.
