Marcel Pruegel delivered comprehensive German localization across six Axon Ivy repositories, including cms-editor, dataclass-editor, variable-editor, form-editor-client, neo, and process-editor-client. He utilized Weblate to manage and automate the translation workflow, achieving 100% string coverage without requiring functional code changes. Working primarily with XML and properties files, Marcel focused on updating UI text to enhance accessibility and user experience for German-speaking users. His approach standardized the localization process, enabling consistent updates and easier onboarding for future translators. The work addressed localization debt and established a scalable model for ongoing internationalization and localization efforts within the Axon Ivy product line.
