During January 2026, Lotosh expanded hardware support in the DragonBluep/openwrt repository by adding device compatibility for the Netis NX62 router. Leveraging expertise in Linux kernel and device driver development, Lotosh defined the vendor, model, and variant within the device configuration, aligning the new support with existing Netcore N60 Pro patterns to enable hardware reuse. This approach broadens Mediatek-based platform readiness and streamlines future device ports by reducing duplication. Although no major bugs were reported, Lotosh focused on ongoing stabilization and code quality improvements. The work primarily utilized Makefile and embedded systems knowledge, demonstrating depth in platform integration and maintainability.
