In March 2025, Bjørn worked on the navikt/aap-oppgave repository, focusing on improving the development environment’s configuration hygiene. He removed outdated frontend application references from the .nais/app-dev.yaml file, streamlining the setup process and reducing the risk of misconfiguration for future developers. Using his skills in configuration management and DevOps, Bjørn consolidated environment references and safely eliminated deprecated definitions in a targeted YAML update. This work enhanced maintainability and predictability of the development environment, supporting faster onboarding and reducing confusion. The depth of the change lay in its careful scope and its direct impact on configuration clarity and team productivity.
