Worked on enhancing observability for the Sabnzbd component within the home-operations/containers repository by enabling persistent file logging. Addressed the need for improved debugging and operational monitoring by modifying the entrypoint Shell script to remove the --disable-file-log flag, allowing Sabnzbd to generate and maintain log files. This change established a clean, auditable log pipeline, supporting both traceability and faster issue reproduction for containerized deployments. Focused on containerization and DevOps practices, the work delivered a single targeted feature that increased transparency into application behavior, laying the groundwork for more effective monitoring and troubleshooting in production environments without introducing new bugs.
