Worked on the geode-sdk/geode repository to enhance the Linux installation process for Geometry Dash, focusing on Debian-based systems. Developed a feature that enables the installer to automatically discover the correct installation path by detecting the $HOME/.steam/debian-installation directory, reducing manual configuration for users. This approach streamlined onboarding and minimized installation errors, directly addressing common support issues. The work relied on Linux administration expertise and shell scripting, utilizing bash to implement robust path detection logic. By standardizing the installation process for Debian environments, the contribution improved reliability and reduced friction for both end users and support teams during deployment.
