Worked on the trifork/fmk-schemas repository to deliver targeted schema enhancements and modular deployment capabilities over a two-month period. Focused on XML Schema (XSD) definition and build scripting, the work included adding a RouteOfAdministration element to improve drug medication text parsing and aligning schema changes with evolving data standards for better interoperability. Refactored the build process using Shell scripting to enable per-schema publishing, allowing independent deployment and reducing deployment risk. These changes established a foundation for safer, more maintainable schema management, emphasizing CI/CD practices and modular architecture without addressing bug fixes during the period, and prioritizing future extensibility and data quality.
