During October 2024, MrVauxs focused on improving gameplay reliability in the devinus/pf2e repository by addressing a core bug affecting Archer Dedication mechanics. He identified and resolved an issue where the Critical Spec was not consistently applied, which previously led to confusion and imbalance for players. Using JavaScript and leveraging his skills in bug fixing and game development, MrVauxs performed root-cause analysis, implemented a targeted code correction, and ensured the change was traceable through precise commit messaging and issue tracking. This work enhanced alignment between design intent and implementation, supporting future regression testing and maintaining the integrity of game mechanics.
