During December 2024, Srivats worked on the foundation-model-stack/bamba repository, developing a new blog post section that analyzes the arithmetic intensity of the Bamba model. Leveraging Markdown and technical writing skills, Srivats authored detailed documentation that includes mathematical formulas and a side-by-side table comparing compute and memory requirements for prefill and decode stages. The post also features an explanatory image to aid understanding. This contribution deepened the repository’s performance documentation, supporting onboarding and cross-team knowledge sharing. While no bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated a thorough approach to technical communication and documentation best practices.
