During February 2026, Mstraven focused on enhancing the Home Assistant user interface by designing and implementing new iconography for the wlanthermo integration within the home-assistant/brands repository. Leveraging skills in graphic and UI design, Mstraven created SVG-based icons that align with Home Assistant’s visual standards, aiming to improve both feature discoverability and branding consistency across dashboards. The work addressed the need for clearer visual representation of wlanthermo devices, supporting a more intuitive user experience. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, the targeted design approach demonstrated attention to UI clarity and adherence to established design guidelines.
