Worked on the moderneinc/rewrite-recipe-starter repository to upgrade the plugin and dependency management process, focusing on improving build stability and maintainability. The approach involved unpinning the rewrite-maven-plugin and updating recipe dependencies to their latest versions, enabling automatic regeneration of recipes.csv and reducing manual intervention. Adjustments to Maven build configurations and Dependabot settings ensured that future upgrades would be smoother and more reliable. This work leveraged skills in Java, Maven, and dependency management, and included updates to XML and YAML configuration files. The changes established a repeatable, automated upgrade path, supporting safer and faster releases across the project ecosystem.
