Worked on the spree/spree repository to deliver multilingual policy support, focusing on enhancing global usability and compliance with internationalization requirements. Addressed the need for flexible policy management by removing the NOT NULL constraint on spree_policies.name, enabling integration with the Mobility translations framework. Developed and expanded automated tests to validate policy creation with translations when always_use_translations is enabled, ensuring reliability across multiple locales. Utilized Ruby on Rails and back end development skills to maintain stability while updating documentation and test coverage. The work improved the repository’s ability to manage policies in various languages, supporting broader adoption and smoother multilingual workflows.
