Developed and delivered local path support for the Hugging Face file probe in the NVIDIA/garak repository, enabling users to utilize local model files in addition to remote resources. This feature addressed the need for flexible and offline workflows, reducing reliance on external connectivity and improving iteration speed for local development and testing. The implementation leveraged Python and Shell scripting, with careful integration into existing continuous integration processes and version control using Git. Throughout the process, code quality was maintained through clear commit messaging and sign-off practices. The work focused on practical enhancements to usability and developer experience within the project.
