During September 2025, Max Wager enhanced the DefectDojo/django-DefectDojo repository by implementing multi-component findings reporting for the Kiuwan SCA parser. He restructured the parser logic in Python to generate a separate finding for each component detected in a scan, improving the accuracy of vulnerability reporting and enabling better cross-component risk analysis. Max updated and expanded unit tests to ensure the new multi-component behavior was robust and regression-safe. His work focused on backend development, data parsing, and vulnerability management, resulting in improved data quality for SCA analytics and supporting more effective remediation planning within the DefectDojo platform.
