Worked on the ForesightMiningSoftwareCorporation/fslabscli repository, focusing on streamlining the Rust test suite and improving dependency management over a two-month period. Simplified the continuous integration process by removing optional tests related to cargo deny and cargo machete, which reduced test run times and maintenance overhead. Ensured consistency by updating Cargo.lock and Cargo.toml files to reflect these changes and performed a version bump for the cargo-fslabscli package. Additionally, upgraded the opentelemetry-otlp dependency to version 0.28, further aligning the project with current standards. The work demonstrated proficiency in Rust, CI/CD workflows, and effective dependency management practices.
