During October 2024, Sofi contributed to the PineappleIncTeam/Finance_frontend repository by developing a feature that preserves cookie consent status across user sessions. She addressed the challenge of maintaining user preferences after page reloads by integrating Redux Persist with a configured persist reducer and PersistGate, ensuring the cookie-related state remains consistent. This approach reduced repetitive consent prompts and improved the overall user experience. Sofi utilized JavaScript and TypeScript for frontend development, focusing on state management with Redux. While the work was limited to a single feature, it demonstrated a solid understanding of persistent state handling in modern web applications without introducing new bugs.
